This animation is a memorial tribute to my friend’s pet rat, Cheeseball. I transformed Cheeseball into a posable taxidermy puppet and crafted a gentle narrative of its imagined afterlife.
The film, posted on Bilibili, received over 46k views and won the Best Creative Animation Award at the Bilibili Animation Carnival of the year.
